Afsaneh Malaekeh, DDS
Dr. Afsaneh Malaekeh graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1993. She practiced as an associate for eight years in Sacramento until relocating to Los Angeles in 2001. She has been actively learning advances in dentistry for the past 17 years by attending hundreds of hours of continuing education seminars and lectures from the nation’s top clinicians.
Dr. Malaekeh is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the California Dental Association. In 2003, she was asked to join the UCLA School of Dentistry Alumni Board. And in May 2010, she became president for the association. Dr. Malaekeh also taught digital dental photography at UCLA School of Dentistry in 2004 and 2005.
Although she is a busy mom of two young children, her love of practicing dentistry keeps her a dedicated professional. Dr. Malaekeh says, “I am very fortunate because I truly enjoy what I do. And I now have the opportunity to practice with my husband and mentor at the Beverly Hills Institute of Dental Esthetics.”
